Classified Avengers Intel

I’m pretty sure it goes without saying that I am more than excited for the AVENGERS film from Marvel Studios coming May 15 of 2012. I am usually a very patient person. All good things come in time yadah yadah yadah but, when it comes to a film I have been planning to see since 1994, I CAN WAIT NO LONGER!

Mortal Kombat.... Toastyyyyyyyyyy!

*sigh* Where do I begin. Let's try, 1995. One night, my family and I (thats Mom, Sis, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins) went Downtown one night to the movies to see MORTAL KOMBAT. This was the first time I witnessed video game characters come to life. When we left the theater, we were all walking to the bus, flipping, kicking, punching, and singing the theme song. That night i some how knew that Mortal Kombat was going to be HUGE for a very long time.

The Mighty THOR!

This May marks the beginning of the second chapter of the prologue to Marvel's Avengers. The Mighty Thor! Chris Hemsworth (Star Trek) wields the mighty hammer of the Odin-Son. The film also stars Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, and Tom Hiddleston as Loki.

The Flaming C!

Like many other Late Night TV viewers, I find Conan O'Brien HIGH-larious. After a lot of fussing, fighting, and bad blood between he and his network execs, Conan now has his own late night talk show on TBS in Burbank California. His show films in Warner Bros. studios, the same place where DC comics animators create such features as Green Lantern First Flight, Batman Superman Apocalypse, and the new Cartoon Network series Young Justice. So when he found this out, Conan took a trip to Warner Bros. Animation studios. What came out of it was nothing short of EPIC!

GREEN LANTERN and my Mixed Emotions

This is another one of those films that has been waited on for too long. From dropped directors to dropped scripts to dropped actors. Now director Martin Campbell helms the GREEN LANTERN starring Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan/The Green Lantern, coming to theaters this summer.

Sucker Punch...... Holy @#$%

Ok.... ok.......... ok... This film.... ok.... Zack Snyder, the director of such epics as The Watchmen and 300. He is also going to be directing the SUPERMAN reboot coming soon. When asked last year about his upcoming film Sucker Punch, one of Snyder's replies was "I thought about everything that I think is cool, and I put it in this film." He's not lying!

Vloggin About Anime!

X-MEN FIRST CLASS first look!

Ok here's another film series that has my same Love/Hate relationship status as TRANSFORMERS. I have been an X-men fan for lord knows how long (eighteen years). Just like Transformers, I was extremely excited when I heard a live action version of the greatest Super Human team ever.

Captain America Super Bowl Ad

Well I did say it was the only reason I was going to watch the Super Bowl.

My Love/Hate Relationship with Michael Bay's TRANSFORMERS

I. Love. Transformers. When I was younger, I had a Starscream action figure. There was just something about having two toys in one that totally amazed me. I would spend an hour just transforming it back and forth. I loved the show, even though it was a little before my time. So obviously I was over joyed when it was announced that a Live ACTION was in the works...

Super 8! It's about..... Um?

JJ Abrams' new film coming this Summer.

REAL STEEL (not Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots)

I love robots. Who doesn't? I love fighting movies. Who wouldn't? Does that mean I loved the Transformers films? Well to tell the truth I'm still not sure. But! Dreamworks has teamed up with Disney Studios (or the other way around) to put out a film that basically looks like a live action Rock'em Sock'em Robots. Sound corny? Think again.

Battle: Los Angeles

A platoon of Marines face off against The Alien threat of Los Angeles.

McBain!

I have been a Simpsons fan forever. Always have been always will be. Shows like Family Guy, Robot Chicken Aqua Teen, wouldn't be as great with out the Simpsons. One of my favorite characters on the show was action star Ranier Wolfcastle as McBAIN! College Humor chronicled his film appearances. Enjoy!

Super Bowl? Bring on the CAPTAIN!

Obviously this weekend is pretty important to Americans all across the country. Super Bowl XLV! The Packers vs. The Steelers... will I be watching? You bet your best black church socks I am. It's goin' down baby... and Josef Woods could not give two possum whiskers about it.

MANTiS Style Kung Fu

Hey people. I've had an urge to do music for awhile. I've recently started to take my music a little more serious. A few family members and I are trying to put together an album consisting of instrumental tracks, freestyles, spoken word, you name it. Here are some tracks I have done and I hope you enjoy them.

The Coming of THE AVENGERS

I've been a Marvel comics fan since I was about 5 years old. At the turn of the century my dreams of high quality high budget Marvel Films came true. There have been some Blockbusters and there have been some major flops, at least in the opinion of the major fans. But it seems that no matter how awesome or horrendous, Marvel films have made a huge impact on Hollywood and film goers across the globe. From rejuvenating icons to rejuvenating fallen film stars, Marvel films have taken over.
